Mr Al Marzooqi began his legal career in the Ministry of Justice before moving to private practice, and he is licensed to represent clients before all courts in the United Arab Emirates. He has been registered as a practicing lawyer before the federal courts since 1 April 2010 (Registration No. 1359), the Dubai courts since 9 April 2010 (Registration No. 707), and the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (Registration No. 227) since 6 March 2013. He continues to appear regularly before the Federal Supreme Court, acting for individuals and corporations in civil, commercial, criminal and family law matters.

In addition to his courtroom practice, Mr Al Marzooqi is active in arbitration and mediation and is registered as an accredited mediator with the Ministry of Justice. He has extensive experience representing clients before the Dubai International Arbitration Centre and other regional arbitral institutions. Fluent in Arabic, English, Persian and Urdu, he is able to communicate effectively with a diverse client base. Over more than 15 years of practice, he has handled in excess of two thousand cases recorded before UAE courts, according to Dubai Courts statistics.
